The Nokia 7230 offers functionality in the form of a slider phone

The handset is a surprisingly compact unit which is 98 mm x 48 mm wide in addition to being 14 mm thick whilst weighing only 100 g in weight.
The Nokia 7230 incorporates a colourful 2.4 inch TFT display screen that offers 256,000 colour options which within its pixel screen size of 240 x 320 pixels displays imagery of outstanding quality. The handset offers the option of either vibration or ring alerts as well as the ability to utilise MP3 files. The handset also includes a 3.15 mega pixel camera that offers snapshot style imagery in addition to the alternative of video capture which records at QCIF quality and at 8 frames per second.
The entertainment options within this handset include an MP4/MP3 media player in addition to a stereo FM radio, offering the ability to listen and watch downloaded media or the alternative of radio broadcasts. The handset also includes several games such as the popular Snake III, Sudoku II and Rally start as well as the alternative option of downloading additional games if desired. Connectivity is provided by virtue of the GPRS and EDGE connections, both of which are class 32 whilst the inclusion of both blue tooth and micro-USB connections coupled with 3G connectivity offers the full myriad of connectivity options. The handset has an internal memory of 45 MB with most packages incorporating a 2 GB SD card, which is utilised within the existing microSD card slot. Further memory expansion is provided by utilising additional cards, offering the option to increase storage capacity up to 16 GB if required.
The Nokia 7230 is an effectively stylish and functional mobile phone. Unlike its counterpart the Nokia 1662 , this particular handset does include a wide raft of useful technology and as such caters for a different demographic.
