The Samsung Wave M is a handset which provides the consumer with an impressive array of functionality, whilst offering smart phone functionality by virtue of the fact that utilises an 832 MHz processor combined with the Bada operating system. The handset itself is a compact unit which measures 113 mm x 63 mm wide whilst being 12 mm thick and weighs just 121 g in weight.

The handset display screen is an impressive 3.6 inch TFT capacitive display screen which has a screen resolution is quoted 320 x 480 pixels, whilst also offering touch screen functionality. The unit also comes with an integrated micro-SD card slot which provides the opportunity to increase the available memory capacity of the unit from the 2 GB which is included as standard, up to a more substantial 32 GB. The unit also provides Bluetooth, micro-USB as well as EDGE and GPRS connectivity.

The handset comes with a raft of additional functions and features which include a primary camera which is 5.0 megapixels and operates at 2592 x 1944 pixels and includes auto focus, smile detection, geo-tagging as well as an LED flash, whilst also provided the opportunity to record video at HVGA quality and at 30 frames per second, whilst a secondary VGA camera is also included. In addition the unit comes with satellite navigation, a stereo FM radio with RDS, a variety of games, an MP4/MP3 multimedia player, image editor, organiser as well as predictive text input and the feature known as Samsun chatON.
