The LG GS101 offers unrivalled simplicity. This handset comes with a limited number of features, yet provides an effective mobile phone that can be utilised to make and receive calls. The unit is a compact unit which measures 103 mm x 43 mm wide whilst being 12 mm thick. It is also a lightweight unit at only 70 g in weight. It has an aesthetic appeal, simply due to its smart functional lines and easy to use interface.

The handset comes with a 1.5 inch TFT display screen, which is able to display up to 256,000 colours within a pixel screen size which is touted at 128 x 120 pixels. Entertainment is provided by virtue of an FM radio, which provides the means to access a wide range of local and national radio stations and broadcasts. The handset is available in black and comes with the li-ion standard battery, which offers up to 800 hours of standby time in addition to a talk time of up to 10 hours.
