Starcraft 2 Review reveals the true nature of the game

The original Starcraft game, which was introduced in 1998 achieved legendary status and to this day still retains a cult following. Around the world, this sci-fi game has generated massive interest, including in some countries professional leagues and competitions with a substantial prizes.

For those who have waited for the sequel, the wait is now over, although it has taken over 10 years. Titled Starcraft II: wings of liberty, it has been widely reviewed and the general consensus is that it is one of the best real-time strategy games ever made. The new game is set approximately 4 years after the end of the original Starcraft, and continues the story of the original character, Raynor.

As with all forms of strategy game, this particular game provides a number of campaigns whereby a series of differing storylines can be chosen and accessed, providing almost limitless options. Opinions of the missions and campaigns is generally excellent, with many quoting that the missions are both interesting yet retain a variety that appeals.

As a sequel to a game that achieved legendary status and had a cult following, the difficulty is to eclipse the success of a previous version. The general feeling amongst the game playing fraternity is that this latest addition to the real strategy game compendium will literally blow your mind.
